About Me
I am a 28 year-old recent graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. I live in Austin, Texas where I will be practicing energy transactions law and continuing to cheer on the Longhorns.
My husband, Daniel, and I were married in March 2005, and we added a member to our family in July 2005 when we brought home Major, a short-haired male tabby cat named after UT quarterback Major Applewhite. You can see lots of cute kitten pics at www.beckyanddaniel.com/Major/first_day. Major is a prominent feature on my blog, so you’ll see plenty of pics of him.
l learned to knit in 2002 when one of my teammates taught me, but I didn’t really get into knitting until mid-2003. I started my knitting blog in 2005 to document my projects and ideas. I hope you enjoy it, and I welcome your comments.
My other hobbies include sports and playing handbells. I am a former member of the Austin
Handbell Ensemble. I played softball in college and also enjoy football, golf, and field hockey. As mentioned above, my husband and I are avid UT fans and enjoy cheering on the nationally ranked football, softball, basketball, and baseball
teams.
