Below is a list of items I want to make in the near to semi-near future. I am need to buy yarn for most or all of them and am trying to organize my thoughts to decide what I want to make next.
Christmas Stockings for Becky and Daniel - deadline Dec 2005 - possible patterns??
scarf for Meredith - need to order Knit Picks yarn (Panache in blue and white - based on Irish Hiking Scarf - would like to have done by Christmas time or earlier - maybe beg of Nov.
Weasley sweater - I bought woolease, not sure if I can get a small enough gauge to use Alison's pattern - that makes this a whole lot more complicated b/c either need to find new yarn or new pattern - fall completion date - 2-3 yo size, so would be a good first sweater
Hopeful - need to decide on and buy yarn - want to make for me, would be nice to have before it gets too cold to wear - another good choice for a first sweater
Eris or Kepler - probably for my mom - a longer term project
Pinwheel baby blanket for a friend (she's not due until April so I've got time) - definitely want a machine washable, reasonably priced yarn. Sex will be unknown, so I'm thinking sea green and pale yellow. Either that or a brighter teal and white. This is another friend of Daniel's so he gets a lot of say in the design. He really likes Cece's blanket shown here.
Daniel's longhorn scarf. In progress, I started the second double knit bottom panel. Need to get working since it is football season, but it is hard to imagine the need for a scarf when it is still in the 90's-100's here.
Scarf for me. I was planning to make a ribbon scarf and had ordered the yarn on sale at 30% off,but some of the yarn I had ordered was out of stock and the store never called me back or responded to my email. Guess I'll never shop there again.
